Japan emissions hit record low in 2020
Greenhouse gas emissions in Japan hit a record low in the 2020 fiscal year, the government said on April 15.
Emissions reached the equivalent of 1.15 billion tons of carbon dioxide, according to the Environment Ministry. The amount is down 5.1% from fiscal 2019.
