ローマ「トレビの泉」見学を有料化、混雑対策で2ユーロ

Rome, on Feb. 2, began charging tourists a fee to get close to its famous Trevi Fountain.

The €2 (¥370) fee will help raise money for the city and keep crowd numbers down at the 18th-century fountain.

Tourists to the Italian capital will also pay a €5 fee for some of its museums.

People who live in Rome do not have to pay the fees.

ローマでは2月2日、観光客が有名なトレビの泉を間近（まぢか）で見るための料金を支払う制度が始まった。

2ユーロ（370円）の料金は、市の収入を増やし、18世紀に造られたこの噴水での混雑緩和に貢献するだろう。

イタリアの首都を訪れる観光客は、同市の一部の博物館でも5ユーロの料金を支払うことになる。

ローマ市民は、これらの料金の支払いは免除される。
