24歳で無寄港世界一周、記録更新

A 24-year-old company employee on June 8 became the youngest Japanese person to sail nonstop around the world.

Hirotsugu Kimura took about 230 days to complete his journey. When he reached his goal off Wakayama Prefecture, he was 24 years and 9 months old.

The previous record holder was Kojiro Shiraishi, who sailed nonstop around the world alone at the age of 26 years and 10 months old.

6月8日、24歳の会社員が世界一周無寄港航海を達成し、日本人として最年少記録を樹立した。

木村啓嗣さんは約230日かけて航海を無事終えた。和歌山県沖のゴールに入港した時、24歳9カ月だった。

これまでの記録保持者は白石康次郎さんで、26歳10カ月で世界一周無寄港航海を達成している。
