東京科学大と京都大、「国際卓越研究大」認定へ

Two more universities will likely be able to receive aid from a ¥10 trillion government fund, according to a government report on Dec. 19.

The Institute of Science Tokyo will likely be recognized as a “University for International Research Excellence” before the end of March this year, with Kyoto University following later.

That will make them the second and third universities to qualify for the fund after Tohoku University.

政府が12月19日に公表した審査結果によれば、2つの大学が、10兆円規模の政府基金からの支援を受けられる見込みだ。

東京科学大学は、今年3月末までに国際卓越研究大学として認定される見込みで、京都大学がそれに続く見通しだ。

この2つの大学は東北大学に続いて、同基金の対象となる2番目および3番目の大学となる。
