インドの人口が世界最多に、国連が発表

India will become the world’s most populous nation this year, according to a U.N. report released on April 19.

The “State of World Population Report 2023” estimates the Indian population will reach 1.4286 billion by the middle of the year.

That will make it more populous than China for the first time. China’s estimated population will be 1.4257 billion.

Japan’s estimated population will be 123.3 million.

４月19日に発表された国連の報告書によると、インドは今年、世界で最も人口の多い国になることが分かった。

「世界人口白書２０２３」では、インドの人口が今年の半ばまでに14億2860万人に達すると推定されている。

それにより、インドの人口は初めて中国より多くなる。中国の推計人口は14億2570万人になる。

日本の人口は1億2330万人と推定されている。
