70% of Japanese want rules for AI chatbots
A Kyodo News poll has found that 69.4% of Japanese people want stricter regulations on the development of chatbots using artificial intelligence.
Many countries are debating whether to set up international standards for new AI technologies like ChatGPT. Some people are concerned that personal data will be collected without consent.
The poll was held from April 29. It included 426 landline users and 620 mobile phone users.

この世論調査は4月29日から行なわれた。固定電話利用者426名、携帯電話利用者620名を対象とした。
