バイデン氏と習氏、米中の対立回避へ

U.S. President Joe Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping agreed that the U.S. and China should avoid conflict.

They spoke together on Nov. 15 in an online meeting. It was their first meeting since Biden became president.

However, the leaders of the world’s two largest economies have many disagreements including trade and China’s pressure on Taiwan.

アメリカのジョー・バイデン大統領と中国の習近平国家主席は、両国の衝突を回避すべきという点で一致した。

米中両国首脳は11月15日にオンライン会談を行なった。バイデン氏が大統領に就任して以来、初めての対話となった。

しかし、世界の2大経済大国である両国首脳には、貿易や中国の台湾に対する圧力など、多くの意見の相違がある。
