Expo 2025 opens in Osaka
The Osaka World Expo opened to the public on April 13 on the artificial island of Yumeshima.
People crowded in to see the 160 or so pavilions of participating countries, regions and organizations.
The first visitors were treated to a marching band and the expo’s mascot, Myaku-Myaku.
Osaka Expo runs until Oct. 13.

大阪・関西万博が、人工島「夢洲（ゆめしま）」で4月13日に開幕した。
多数の人々が会場に押し寄せ、約160の参加国と地域、（国際）機関のパビリオンを観覧した。
