ロサンゼルス、大規模山火事で被害甚大

Local firefighters continue to work hard to put out huge wildfires in Los Angeles.

Six wildfires in L.A. County have swept through neighborhoods since Jan. 7. Powerful winds have worsened the blazes, blowing embers through the air.

As of Jan. 22, at least 28 people have died, and more than 16,000 structures have been destroyed.

米国ロサンゼルスの地元消防士たちは大規模な山火事を消し止めようと懸命に活動している。

ロサンゼルス郡では１月７日以降、６か所で発生した山火事が近隣地区を襲っている。強風が炎を煽り、残り火を空中にまき散らした。

１月２２日の時点で、少なくとも２８人が死亡、１万６０００棟を超える建物が崩壊している。
