高速道路で一部トラックの最高速度引き上げを検討

The National Police Agency said on July 13 that it is thinking of raising the speed limit for some trucks to speed up delivery time for goods.

It will gather a panel of transport experts to consider the issue.

The speed limit for trucks weighing 8 tons or more is 80 kilometers per hour. The panel will consider whether to raise it to 100 kph.

警察庁は7月13日、輸送時間を短縮するため、一部のトラックを対象に制限速度の引き上げを検討していると発表した。

議論のため交通や物流業界の有識者からつくる諮問委員会を設置する。

現在、重量8トン以上のトラックの制限速度は時速80キロとなっている。時速100キロに引き上げるかどうかを委員会で検討するという。
