EU、日本産食品の輸入規制を撤廃

The European Union agreed on July 13 to allow imports of food from Japan without restrictions.

The restrictions were put in place on Japanese food products after the 2011 Fukushima nuclear accident. Even now, some seafood and agricultural products from certain areas of Japan have required safety certificates.

Those restrictions will be lifted shortly, said the European Commission.

欧州連合（EU）は7月13日、日本産の食品に対する輸入規制について撤廃することで合意した。

規制は2011年の福島原発事故のあとに導入された。現在でも、日本の特定の地域からの水産物や農産物輸入には安全性を示す証明書が求められている。

欧州委員会によれば、これらの制限は早急に解除されるという。
