定年後も働きたいと考える人多数

64% of Japanese say they would be willing to work even after retirement age, according to a survey conducted by a major life insurance company in August.

The survey covered 7,543 policyholders. It found that 38.7% of them were willing to carry on in their current job, while 25.3% said they would prefer different jobs.

Due to a low birth rate and aging population, Japan faces labor shortages.

大手生命保険会社が8月に行った調査によると、64パーセントの日本人が定年を迎えた後も働く意欲があると答えた。

この調査は7,543名の保険契約者を対象に行なわれた。それによると、契約者の38.7%は現在の仕事をそのまま続けたいと考えていて、25.3%は違う仕事についてみたいと回答している。
