日本の食文化「駅弁」、パリに進出する

A new shop in a Paris train station will introduce ekiben to commuters in the French capital.

The pop-up shop will open next April in Gare de Lyon station. It will be run by an Akita-based ekiben maker.

The shop’s menu of box meals will include seasoned chicken with rice. It also plans to sell Daifuku and Japanese sake.

The shop is part of an effort to promote Japan’s food culture overseas.

フランスの首都パリの駅構内で、通勤客目当てに駅弁店が出店する。

来年の4月期間限定でパリのリヨン駅に販売店がオープンし、秋田県の駅弁メーカーが運営する。

販売品には「鶏めし」などの弁当がある。「大福」や「日本酒」なども販売が予定されている。

この店は、日本の食文化を海外に広める活動の一環としてのものである。
