中国、夫婦１組に子供3人まで可能

Couples in China can have three children instead of two, the Chinese government said on May 31.

The country’s population is graying fast, so the ruling Communist Party raised its limit on children to help China become a prosperous society.

From 1980, China had a “one-child policy” in order to control population growth, but then raised the child limit to two in 2015.

中国政府は、5月31日、夫婦は子供の数を２人ではなく３人まで持つことができると発表した。

中国の人口は急速に高齢化しており、与党共産党は中国の繁栄を推し進めるために、子供の数に関する制限を引き上げた。

中国は 人口増加の抑制のために、1980年から「一人っ子政策」をとっていたが、その後 2015年には制限を二人まで引き上げていた。
