Denmark moves to ban social media for kids
Denmark will ban the use of social media platforms for children under 15, the government said on Nov. 7.
Digitalization Minister Caroline Stage Olsen said social media was bad for children, taking up their time and harming their well-being.
A formal vote in the Danish parliament looks to have support from a majority of parties.
YouTube, Instagram and TikTok are among the most-used social media platforms in Denmark, the government said.
