激辛ポテトチップスを食べた高校生、病院に搬送

Fourteen students at a Tokyo high school were taken to hospital on July 16 after eating a brand of extra spicy potato chips.

The chips were brought by a male student and shared with more than 30 students at a senior high school in Ota Ward.

After eating the “18-kin curry chips,” the 13 female students and one male student complained of mouth and stomach pains and felt nausea.

Police said the students’ symptoms were believed to be mild.

東京の高校生14人が7月16日、激辛ポテトチップスを食べた後、病院に搬送された。

このポテトチップスは大田区の高等学校に男子生徒が持ち込んだもので、３０人以上の生徒に配ったという。

「18禁カレーチップス」と言う商品を食べた女子生徒13人と男子生徒一人が口や胃の痛みのほか吐き気を訴えた。

警察によると、生徒の症状はいずれも軽症とのこと。
