London exhibition looks at 65 years of Barbie
A London museum is celebrating Barbie’s 65th year with an exhibition of the doll’s many designs.
The Design Museum’s “Barbie: Exhibition” highlights the way Barbie has changed.
The exhibition features a first-edition blonde-haired Barbie in a swimsuit. Other later models represent different races and shapes.
Mattel released the first Barbie in March 1959.
The exhibition will run through Feb. 23.
