世界で最も生活費の高い都市、シンガポールとチューリヒ

Singapore and Zurich tied for the world’s most expensive city this year, according to a Nov. 30 report by the Economist Intelligence Unit.

The two cities were followed by Geneva, New York and Hong Kong.

Of the world’s 173 major cities surveyed, Japan’s Osaka fell greatly from 43rd place in the previous year to 70^th place, while Tokyo moved down from 37^th to 60^th place.

エコノミスト・インテリジェンス・ユニットの11月30日発表のレポートによると、世界で最も生活費が高い都市はシンガポールとチューリヒで、同率のトップだった。

そのあとにジュネーブ、ニューヨーク、香港が続いた。

世界173都市を対象としたこの調査では、日本の大阪が昨年の43位から70位へと大きく下がり、東京も37位から60位となった。
