3ヵ国の人権活動家がノーベル平和賞受賞

The Nobel Peace Prize for 2022 was awarded to individuals and groups campaigning for human rights in three countries in Eastern Europe.

The three prize winners are: jailed Belarusian activist Ales Byalyatski; Russian rights group Memorial; and Ukraine’s Center for Civil Liberties.

This year’s prize is seen as a criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko for their suppression of human rights activists.

2022年のノーベル平和賞が、東欧3ヵ国の人権運動に賛同する個人・団体に授与された。

受賞したのは、拘留中のベラルーシの活動家アレシ・ビャリャツキ氏、ロシアの人権団体「メモリアル」、ウクライナの「市民自由センター」である。

今年の賞は、人権活動家に対し抑圧を強めるロシアのプーチン大統領とベラルーシのアレクサンドル・ルカシェンコ大統領への批判と見られている。
