英国、エリザベス英女王の即位70年を祝賀

Queen Elizabeth II appeared in public for the last day of her Platinum Jubilee celebrations on June 5.

The 96-year-old queen missed many of the events in the four-day celebration. However, she opened the first day from the balcony of Buckingham Palace in London.

In a statement after her appearance on the final day of the Jubilee, she said, “I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability.”

６月５日、即位70周年を祝う記念行事「プラチナ・ジュビリー」の最終日、エリザベス英女王が姿を見せた。

96歳になる女王は、4日間にわたる祝典のさまざまなイベントを欠席したが、初日にロンドンのバッキンガム宮殿のバルコニーに登場した。

行事の最後に姿を見せた後、彼女は声明の中で、「引き続き私の能力の限りを尽くし、皆さまに奉仕することを約束します 」と述べた。

* Platinum Jubilee　70周年記念行事。Jubileeとは(英王室の)在位期間の節目を祝うことで、ここでは在位70周年の記念行事。
“Silver Jubilee” は25周年、“Golden  Jubilee” は50周年。
