東日本大震災3.11から11年目を迎える

On March 11, Japan marked the 11th anniversary of the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster in the Tohoku region.

Residents in Fukushima, Iwate and Miyagi prefectures observed a moment of silence at 2:46 p.m., when the magnitude 9.0 earthquake struck in 2011.

Around 15,900 people died in the 3/11 disaster.

Prime Minister Fumio Kishida attended a ceremony to mark the anniversary in the city of Fukushima.

3月11日、日本は東北地方での地震、津波、原発事故から11年目を迎えた。

福島県、岩手県、宮城県の住民は、2011年にマグニチュード9.0の地震が発生した午後2時46分に黙とうを捧げた。

３月11日の震災では約15,900人の方が亡くなった。

岸田文雄首相は、福島市で行なわれた式典に出席した。
