警察庁、落とし物データ全国で統合へ

Police in Japan will start building a unified database of all lost and found data across the country, the National Police Agency said on Nov. 10.

They will complete the nationwide online database by March 2027.

The new system will let police across the country record information about found property in a unified manner.

People will be able to search for their lost items anywhere in the country through the NPA website

警察庁は11月10日、全国の遺失物データをまとめたデータベースを構築すると発表した。

この全国版オンラインデータベースは2027年3月までに完成予定である。

このデータベースにより、警察が全国の拾得物に関する情報を一元的に記録できるようになる。

落とし主も、警察庁のホームページを通じて、全国どこからでも警察署に届けられた落し物を探すことができるようになる。
