富士山の通行料一人2,000円に、今夏から

Beginning this summer, people who want to climb Mount Fuji from the trail in Yamanashi Prefecture will have to pay a ¥2,000 fee.

The prefectural government announced the new fee on Feb. 1.

It said the fee will help reduce the number of climbers and ease congestion.

The prefecture said it will cap the number of climbers of 4,000 a day.

今年の夏から、山梨県側の登山道から富士山に登る場合、登山料として2,000円を支払いが求められるようになる。

山梨県が２月１日に新料金を発表した。

この料金は登山者を減少させることになり、混雑緩和に役立つとしている。

県は登山者数を１日当たり4,000人に制限するという。
