Sony releases film despite massive cyberattack
Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc. on Dec. 25 released the controversial comedy about North Korea, The Interview, despite terrorist threats from hackers opposed to the film. Sony earlier decided not to release the film in the wake of a massive cyberattack on the company. But after U.S. President Barack Obama criticized the decision, the company made the movie available online and at independent theaters.
