Malala Yousafzai, Kailash Satyarthi share Nobel Peace Prize

For their efforts to expand education for children and women, Pakistani Malala Yousafzai and Indian Kailash Satyarthi were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on Oct. 10. Malala is the youngest Nobel laureate at 17 years of age. Her activism made her the target of the Islamic militant group “Pakistani Taliban,” who tried unsuccessfully to assassinate her in October 2012.
